Bozhentsi is a unique village situated in the foothills of the Stara Planina (Balkan). It includes pristine forests, and it is located 15 km east of the town of Gabrovo.
The village granted the status of architectural and historical reserve Bozhentsi. This picturesque area has kept the spirit of bygone times. Six centuries passed down from generation to generation the legend of the first local settlers - Turnovo Bozhanov nobleman and his nine sons, who managed to flee the besieged Turkish oppressors Tarnovo in the mountains.

Each guest of the village can feel that Bozhentsi keeps Bulgarian traditions in this marvelous corner of Bulgaria, and can enjoy calm and comfort of unsurpassed, pure nature. Today in Bozhentsi there are many authentic shops. They produce souvenirs, wooden ware, rose oil, Bulgarian national dolls - souvenirs and more. There are also numerous traditional restaurants (Bulgarian taverns), and space for a traditional Bulgarian houses.
