Located in the southern part of Bulgaria, the town of Pazardzhik is placed in the western part of the Upper Thracean Valley, not far from the town of Plovdiv and lies on both banks of the Maritsa River. The traditional fair of Pazardzhik is celebrated on May 21st, while in February is organized a classical music festival, and in October is organized a large Autumn Fair.
