Real estate near Borovets. Sales and rentals of properties near Borovets

Borovets is the oldest Bulgarian winter resort being founded in 1896. Borovets is already a very popular weekend resort for people from the capital Sofia who come here during the summer months to experience the beautiful flora and fauna and the clean airand in winter to ski or snowboard. Further new ski resorts are planned for Govedartsi village and Malyovitsa which are 20km from Borovets. These projects will take longer to materialize as they are at the early design phase but they show the ambition the Borovets area has to become a massive integrated ski domain.

Tourism in Borovets does not end with the melting of the snow. Tourists can get outside year round, taking trips to the Seven Lakes and hiking through the old growth forests of the National Park. Horseback riding, tennis and swimming are available and golf course in the town of Dolna Banya, a well-known spa center located some 20 km from Borovets. Guests can also explore Bulgarian culture by visiting the Rila Monastery, attending a wine tasting and sampling Bulgarian delicacies, or simply relax at the spa and enjoy Borovets’ restaurants, cafes and nightlife.
