The village itself is famous for its historical and cultural landmarks: the Christian church is more than 150 years old and is still open for visitors, the Madara Rider– national symbol of Bulgaria – is 3 km away; the ancient capitals of Bulgaria are also in the region – Pliska and Veliki Preslav; also the towns of Shumen and Varna.
