Overseas Property Portal: Higher Interest in Holiday Homes in Bulgaria
Enquiries by users of British overseas property search portal TheMoveChannel.com wanting to buy holiday homes in Bulgaria has increased considerably in June, when Bulgaria jumped up 7 places in the portal’s ranking. Bulgaria now ranks 11th in the site’s Top 40 ranking, its share being a total of 2.61% of all enquiries.
Although Bulgaria spent the better part of the market boom in the Top 5 of the international destinations, as a result of the crisis the country lost its high position. However, as of late the interest in the Bulgarian property market is returning, comments the portal’s manager Dan Johnson. This is largely due to the good value Bulgarian ski resorts offer and to the good snowfall in the last few years, he adds.
The ranking includes 40 international real estate markets, as “old favorites” Spain, France and the USA are still the most popular.
