Authentic rural house, built around 1905. It is located in the most beautiful and quiet place in the village of Plakovo, about 17 km from Veliko Tarnovo. From sunrise only the beautiful bird songs announce the space around, and at night the playing of the crickets complements the magnificent atmosphere.
The house is located in the historic center of the village, opposite the church and the primary school. It reveals a wonderful view of a large meadow, along which flows a river.
The house has an area of about 170 square meters and is on two floors and is built with oak beams and baked, clay bricks (not adobe). In the basement, which is at the level of the meadow in front, there was a pub and a shop with a storage room. The walls on the side of the garden are made of cut stones.
On the second floor, which is at the level of the courtyard, there is a long room, which leads to three spacious and bright bedrooms (one transitional). In each of them there are beautiful jamals for heating. The ceilings are lined with painted wide boards, and the floor is wooden.
The house has two closets, in which it is very appropriate to build a kitchen and bathroom. The height of all rooms is over 2.20 m.
At the end of the long room, opposite the front door, there is a beautiful south-facing balcony overlooking the meadow, the river, the church and the Elena Balkan.
The spacious garden has an area of 1300 square meters, is steep and consists of three terraces. In addition to the house, there is a large two-storey barn (with a total area of over 150 square meters) and a smaller one with an area of about 50 square meters.
In front of the house, on the lawn, there are about 20 square meters, which are not fenced, but are part of the plot. The place is suitable for building a septic tank.
On the first terrace is a courtyard, lined with huge stone slabs, whose retaining wall is strewn with ivy and geranium. The yard fountain is located under the shade of vines from the traditional for northern Bulgaria variety. The entrance of the house is located in this yard.
Next door is another part of the yard, where there is a huge cypress tree, outdoor toilet, flower garden, and the entrances of two basements. Much of the yard in front of the basements is also paved with stone slabs.
As you climb the stone stairs, you find yourself on the second terrace, which has several fruit trees and a place for a vegetable garden.
The third terrace is a large meadow with various fruit trees - apples, walnuts and prunes typical of the region. There are also two more vines. There is also a smaller barn. At the end of the yard there is an exit to the other street.
