The village is situated at the foot of the Pirin Mountain in the south- eastern part of the Razlog valley on 810 meters above the sea level. Dobrinishte is 165 kilometers away from Sofia and 6 kilometers south of Bansko.
One of the major plans is to connect the lift system of Dobrinishte to the extensive lift and piste system of Bansko. The proximity of Bansko (6 km), where huge funds were invested to develop it as the most modern ski resort in Bulgaria, is another reason for the good future of the whole region.
