Investors Pour 350 Million Levs in Wind-farms in Bulgaria
In a few weeks the state will support with terrains and infrastructure investors, who plan to pour 350 million levs (1 euro = 1.95 levs) in the Bulgarian economy.
"We have started a procedure for the issuing of first class certificates to four project. The first class investors may rely on the support of the state for construction of infrastructure, purchase of land from the State Land and Forestry Fund without a tender and they will also receive their licenses in shorter terms," said Stoyan Stalev, Head of the Investments Agency.
One of the projects is about expansion and modernization of the Liebherr-Hausgeraete Maritsa refrigerator factory near Plovdiv city.
The investments provided under the project total seventy million levs and seven hundred new job positions will be created. Two of the projects are about the building of wind-farms. The first one will be build near the northern coastal town of Kavarna with the investments of the Japan-seated Kaliakra Wind Power JSC and the Inos 1 company, seated in Bulgaria. The Japanese company is owned by Inos 1 and the Mitsubishi Heavy Industries. The investments in the wind farm total 79 million levs.
The second wind-farm project will be launched in Suvorovo Municipality, northeastern Bulgaria; the investor is the Bulgarian-Spanish venture Eolica Bulgaria.
The investments in the project total 120 million levs and twenty new job positions will be created.
The fourth project is for expansion of the capacity of the Agropolychim JSC in Devnia, Northeastern Bulgaria. The modernization of the fertilizer production plant will cost 81 million levs.
