BA Extends London Flights to Sofia, Varna
British Airways announced five more early-hours flights from Varna and Sofia London's Gatwick to manage the traditionally heavy summer schedule.
The British aviation operator has opened just recently, in March, the Varna destination performing two evening flights weekly, on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
As of June 5 BA's clients will be able to book also early Mondays and Tuesdays (flights taking off at 05:00 a.m. local time).
The two-way ticket costs EUR 160, without airport fees.
As of June 2 British Airways boosts its Sofia-London fleet with three early
morning take-offs to Gatwick, on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.
Adding to the daily Heathrow schedule, the total number of BA's flights from Sofia stands at ten weekly.
According to Emil Delibashev, BA Sales Manager for Bulgaria, the
introduction of early flights will grant BA's clients extended opportunities to make connections to more than 160 destinations worldwide.
All these flights will be operated by Boeing 737-400 aircraft, accommodating
146 passengers each, and will be available till the end of October 2006.
