Bulgaria's Sunny Beach Sees End-Of-Season Rush
Bulgaria's seaside resort of Sunny Beach is so fully booked that some hotels have resorted to adding campbeds in the rooms to accommodate the tourists.
There is not a single free bed in the resort, Dimitar Yankov of the Nessebar Municipal Council told Standart daily.
Other resorts within the municipality have also seen a record number of visitors with over 300,000 tourists on the territory, including those in Sunny Beach.
Tour operators say that 95% of the tourists in the southern resorts are foreigners. They explain the unseen rush with the fact that many have delayed their vacation because of the pouring rains in the beginning of the summer that flooded several resorts.
