Golf project for Pavlikeni area, Veliko Tarnovo District, tabled by Icelandic firm

Holm Group of Iceland has presented to the municipality of Pavlikeni, Central North Bulgaria, plans for the construction of a golf course and related facilities on a 100 ha site near the city. The investors have proposed to design the golf complex in co-operation with the municipal authorities. Bulgaria has 3 completed golf courses: air carrier Air Sofia owns the courses in Ihtiman and Sliven with a third operating near Elin Pelin. The golf course projects in the pipeline include the Cliff Golf Holiday Club near Balchik and the project of Spain's Ferry Group for a golf course near the village of Katina, in the Sofia area.
