Polina Stoykova: There is activation in the housing market, prices are rising
"There is definitely an activation of the property market in Bulgaria, as strange as this may sound against the backdrop of the previous strong years. The market has been extremely dynamic since the beginning of 2025 with demand increasing by between 30% to 50% more enquiries. We are seeing active buyers ready to make decisions and conclude deals."
This is what Polina Stoykova MRICS - Managing Director of BULGARIAN PROPERTIES said in the studio of 'Good Morning, Europe' on Euronews Bulgaria.
According to her, the main reasons for this are the available bank lending at still unchanged low levels, the growth of incomes, as well as the potential entry of Bulgaria into the eurozone, which stimulates the interest in buying, while at the same time pulls sellers away and makes them wait. This keeps supply at low levels, which drives up prices.
"We see prices rising again this year," the expert noted.
