Neolithic dwellings found in Stara Zagora
Two houses from a settlement of the Neolithic age, dating from the 6th millennium BC are disposed in a small museum in Stara Zagora- the fifth largest town of Bulgaria. They are considered to be the best preserved from this early time on the European continent. This archeological find represents two houses in which it is possible to see ovens, grain storage pots, primitive mill for grinding grain, pottery, tools, etc. If you are interested to see this historical subject you will have the chance to hear the story of two families that have left their homes because of fire.
The museum is also presenting an exhibition of pottery, jewelry, tools, etc. from numerous archeological excavations in Stara Zagora region.
