Construction of Tsonevo lake (25 km long) started in the 60s years of the last century. As a natural dam wall on one side are Kamchia Mountains and part of the Balkan Mountains. The old village had entirely immersed in the water. Only the church was moved and saved stone by stone. The place is beautiful and charming not only because of the dam located at the foot of the mountain, but also because of its proximity to the Wonderful Rocks - natural stone formations.
The house was purchased by the current owner brand new but with very simple and insignificant appearance. Architectual studio "STARH Stanislavov Architects" performed a complete overhaul of the exterior of the house, keeping only the roof, which is "Bramac", and the metal railings of the fence.
PVC windows are replaced with aluminum system Etem E-45, which contains frame, windows and shutters. An overall heat insulation of the house is done with a system of Baumit , and as a finishing layer is placed NANOPOR plaster.
The first floor and north facades are covered with clinker produced by Agrob Buchtal Germany.
This is a two storey house with a total area of 200 square meters. On the first floor there is a living area - living room (30 sqm), dining room (16.4 sqm), kitchen (9m ²), bathroom (3 sqm) and a storage room (3.5 sqm). A large porch (21sqm) in front of the dining area offers space for the sunny days.
On the second floor there are three bedrooms (14 sqm, 19 sqm and 15 sqm), each with en-suite bathroom. There are also balcony and storage room (1.7 sqm). Each room of the house is facing magnificent view to the dam, surrounded by the mountains.
The main requirement when creating the project was the maximum durability of the house. The planned period without additional maintenance needed is programmed to be 10-15 years.
The architecture of the house is in complete harmony with the surrounding buildings - the colors are warm and pastel, and only organic materials have been used.
The interior of the house is simple, comfortable and casual to correspond with pastoral surroundings of the house. Natural materials and warm colors are specific for this design.
The house is sold fully furnished with equipped kitchen. Installed are monitoring system, satellite TV and Internet. The house is maintained by a relyable Property Manager. Upon request, the new owners can benefit from his services.
"The Lake House" has been selected to be a cover of a prestigious Bulgarian magazine in 2013.
