Bansko is one of the largest winter resorts in the country combined with an impressive architectural and historical value of the city. It is located 150 km south of Sofia International Airport and 250 km northwest of Macedonia International Airport in Thessaloniki, Greece. The resort attracts tourists with 65 km of snow-covered slopes during the ski season from December to April. Artificial snow facilities guarantee great skiing even in warm conditions.
