Varna Airport opens after renovation
Varna Airport is announced to open on 29.02.2012 and it is ready to welcome guests and tourists from various destinations. The airport will renew operations after it was closed for a few months for renovation.
The project of Fraport Twin Star Airport Management for renovation of the airport pistes, in which the company invested nearly 40 million BGN, sgarted on 15th Oct, 2011. The building works were completed and on 19th January they started testing the newly-built flight areas.
The online flight reservation system www.BulgariaFlights.com reported that Bulgaria Air has already announced 4 regular flights from Sofia to Varna per day. You can get more information on the schedule here.
