Tsarevo to Attract Tourists with Folklore and Hip-Hop Festival
The Municipality of the Black Sea town of Tsarevo is organizing two festivals this summer – the folk festival Strandzha My Cradle and the festival for sport dances and hip-hop, the Municipality press center announced. The international folklore festival Strandzha My Cradle is an idea the people working in the community center have had for a long time but this is going to be its first year as it is an attempt to enrich the traditional summer cultural program and lend variety to the tourists’ stay.
For three days – June 25th-27th, the festival will present folk songs and dances, as the idea is the resort of Tsarevo to welcome folklore fans and musicians both from around the country and from abroad. The musicians from abroad will be offered a five-day stay and they will also be able to visit natural and historical sights in the area. It is expected that the Bulgarian and foreign singers, musicians and dancers coming to Tsarevo will be over 500. The second festival is planned for the middle of July.
