Part of Razlog district in Blagoevgrad Municipality, the village of Dobarsko is located in Southwestern Bulgaria, at the slopes of Rila mountain. This is a small mountain village which is 17 km from the ski resorts of Bansko and Razlog and 70 km from the town of Blagoevgrad. In Dobarsko village there is a community center, a kindergarten and a primary school. In addition, there's an old church, built in year 1614, which is a cultural monument recognized by UNESCO. There is another church that was built in year 1860 and painted by masters from the School of Art in Bansko.
