2007-04-04 | Dnevnik a.m.
The airport runway in Primorsko, a resort town on Bulgaria's Black Sea coast, will be extended to 3 km to accommodate 100-seat passenger jets, said town mayor Dimitar Dimitrov. The land necessary for the extension of the 910 by 30 m runway has already been reclaimed. The upgrade will also include concrete-reinforcement of the runway.
At the moment, the airport handles only planes with up to 12 passengers and that only during daytime. A hangar is available with a parking capacity for 6 light planes.
