11.02.2009 Kleptuza Lake in Velingrad to Become a Tourist Atraction

The entertaining water facilities in the park will be renovated. There will be a children playground in the park around the lake, which would become a favorite resting place for the young and the grown-up citizens of Velingrad.
Some changes in the park will be done too. New rare vegetable species will be planted. They will make the park unique such as the lake.
Kleptuza is one of the biggest karsts springs in Bulgaria. More than 1200 litres of cold water gushes out each second. The water shapes a beautiful lake, surrounded by green, pine woods. The natural park is very popular among the citizens and guests of Velingrad spa resort, especially during the summer.
