More and More Macedonians Interested in Bansko and Borovets Apartments
In its issue from March 4th 2010 the Macedonian business magazine Capital published a material on the holiday property market in Bulgaria. According to the author of the article one of the most common ads in the big ski resorts in Bulgaria is for sale of hotels. Currently there are 700 hotels put up for sale.
The magazine also writes that Bulgarian real estate agencies say that at the moment the British are the most active property sellers and the buyers in the ski resorts are mostly Greeks, Serbians and Macedonians.
The magazine cites BULGARIAN PROPERTIES’ Chief Operations Manager Polina Stoykova who says that every week the company organizes more and more viewing trips for Macedonians looking for a property in Bansko. According to her Macedonian buyers are well informed about the changes in property prices around Bulgaria, but their interest is focused mainly on the tourist hubs in western Bulgaria.
However, the greatest property price decrease is in Bansko where a studio of 25 square meters can be bought for as low as 11,000 Euro.
