Low Risk Investment Proposals

Dimitrios Tourikis, Director of Bulgarian Properties Hellas, for SFINA newspaper

“More and more Greeks are running to invest their capital in emerging markets like neighboring Bulgaria”, says Mr. Dimitrios Tourikis Director of Bulgarian Properties Hellas.

He continues to explain “Specifically Bansko is the first preference of Greek investors for two reasons: firstly, for the attractive pricing and secondly, for the short distance from Athens (about 6 hours). At this moment due to the global financial crisis the prices in Bulgaria have dropped by up to 40% which in fact is a tremendous investment opportunity with zero risk and future attractive returns. In our days you cannot find cheaper properties in any other European country and like we all know Bulgaria has been an EU member since 2007 and the currency (Leva) is pegged to the Euro (1.95).One Euro buys almost 2 Leva.

Furthermore, the management of the properties bought (with a net return of 6-8%) is creating one more reason for the Greeks who are finding a safe shelter in the Bulgarian property market, especially in these difficult times we are going through.
