The village of Gyulyovtsa is located in Southeastern Bulgaria and is part of Nessebar district in Burgas municipality. The village is situated at the foot of Stara Planina Mountain, where starts the Dyulenski Pass and is placed near Poroy Dam. Furthermore, it is approximately15 km away from the town of Nessebar and the summer resort Sunny Beach. In the village are available a primary school and a village community center with folk groups, library and nursery, pharmacy, dental and medical offices.
A few kilometers away from the village is placed the beautiful waterfall "Blue Pool". The village hosts different festivals at Christmas, Lazarov day, and Babin day. Thetraditional fair in the village is celebrated on May 24th. The population is approximately 1300 residents.
