Foreigners to Have Free Access to Jobs in Bulgaria

Citizens from the European Union member countries will be able to work in Bulgaria at equal footing with the Bulgarians, according to the amendments to the Employment Act that will be voted today at the Tripartite Economic and Social Council. "Bulgarian workers' employment aboard will be facilitated," said Dikran Tebeian Deputy Chairman of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The amendments to the act were coordinated with the previous government, Tebeian added, and they concern the EU requirements Bulgaria should meet by 2007.
