Bulgaria Will Receive Eur 5.6 mln Under PHARE Programme

Bulgaria invited a tender procedure to select contractors on the project of “Helping the Development of Regional Tourism By Improving the Adjacent Road Infrastructure,” for which Bulgaria will receive ˆ5.6 mln will receive ˆ5.6 mln under the PHARE programme.

The project entails the reconstruction and rennovation of fourth-class country roads and motorways road network.
The average cost of the facelift of the roads is estimated at about 150,000 euro ($191,000) per km.

The interested companies have to submit bids for the project in 97 municipalities around the country no later than June 15, 2006.

Each offer should not exceed 750,000 euro, VAT not included.
