The construction of Maritsa Gardens is about to begin

Nedvijimi Imoti Newspaper, 28th September 2006

The first stage from the construction of one of the biggest residential complexes, has already been completed, announced Schraga Rusanski- the Chief engineer of the project. Two Plovdiv companies – “Mig engineering” and “Jazov” - are constructing the first three blocks of a settlement, which is going to be situated among the greenery and peacefulness at the bank of the Maritsa River, in close proximity to “Pazardjishko schose” and “Allati” shop. Investor in the project is the Israeli company “Maritsa Gardens” GmBH, with designer – architect Liudmila Petkova and according to the concept of architect Orit Nimrod from Israel.
The settlement is spread over the area of 40 decares, and its total living area is around 60 thousand square meters. In 4 years 19 five-storied residential buildings will be built here – 15 will be from A type – with 25 apartments , and 4 will be B type – with 50 apartments in each building, explained eng. Rusanski. Under each residence an underground garage department will be constructed and the investors’ main idea is that each of the flats should have a separate underground garage place. Along with that there will be parking lots available in the open. A special shopping street will be formed at the end of the settlement with separate spots for children’s playgrounds, sport grounds, restaurants and a spa center. The investors aim is to reach a standard higher than the common building standard for Plovdiv. For example in each room of the apartment there will be a possibility for connecting a telephone landline, TV, Internet. For the people who wish to purchase an apartment in the settlement there is an option to have it completely finished or to have the finishing work done themselves – to tile and furnish the bathroom, the kitchen and etc., eng. Rusanski said.
It is very important for the investors to save and maintain the green zones in the settlement as it will be near Maritsa River and after it has been finished, the settlement will become a part of a bigger project called Maritsa Gardens. Within its area there will be a 5 000 sq. m. park area.
For the finishing of the complex other building companies will be chosen and everything will be done in stages. That is a part of the policy of the company, explained eng. Rusanski - the building work to be assigned to at least two companies. A year and a half from its beginning the construction of the first three blocks should be completed and the apartments have to be livable. According to the opinion of eng. Rusanski, the marketing researches are showing that Plovdiv still needs new residences and mainly settlements of this type situated among greenery and in close proximity to the main district of the town of Plovdiv.
