Bulgaria's Telco Improves Winter Resorts Networks

The Bulgarian Telecommunications Company (BTC) will invest BGN 2 M in the modernization of the network in three of Bulgaria's major winter resorts.

BTC will renew the telecommunications network in the resorts of Bansko, Borovets and Pamporovo. The new improvements will provide the resorts with better telecommunication solutions.

Bansko's phone centre capacity will be boosted by 30%. Pamporovo's phone central capacity will be improved by 100% and Borovets central will be with additional 30%.

BTC spokesman Dimitar Tsonev explained that tourism development and the attracting of foreign investors is important for Bulgaria and therefore BTC wants to meet the growing demands of telecommunication solutions for that sector.
