New property season starts in Bulgaria

2020-05-15

The state of emergency in Bulgaria is now over and our country is gradually returning to a normal rhythm of life with an epidemic emergency situation now announced till 14.06.2020.

Bulgaria's success is that we have managed to keep coronavirus cases relatively low compared to other European countries. Present data shows a total of 2,138 people infected with COVID-19, 545 of whom have been cured.

Although most of the epidemic measures including the obligatory 14-day quarantine for people entering Bulgaria remain, many others have been eased. Open-air restaurant gardens and spaces are now open, requiring strict disinfection and a distance between the tables of 1.5 metres. The work of swimming pools, individual and team sports for amateurs in the open air are also allowed. The parks and gardens are open, as well as the free travel between to towns and cities.

The government is taking measures for the start of the summer tourist season, including suitable measures for foreign tourists and better prices of services including free loungers and sun beds.

Although we haven't stopped working over the past 2 months, we had limited personal meetings and viewings, relying on intensive development of new technologies and virtual viewings, transferring much of our business online.

We would like to thank you for staying with us during these hard times and for being ready to accept changes and innovations! For us, this was a valuable period and we used it to develop and improve our platforms to continue to provide you the highest level of service.

Technology stays with us to help us in the new reality! We will need to be more careful, more rational and we will continue to do many things online. Not only because it is safer, but also because it is more convenient, it saves time and it is absolutely needed when distance is a factor.

We already have over 100 properties with virtual 360-degree tours, and our properties with a video clips are over 1,300. Our YouTube channel enjoys great interest and has over 1,100 subscribers, making it the most popular channel of a real estate agency in Bulgaria.

We conduct online meetings with clients, we make full-fledged viewings on Skype, WhatsApp and other preferred platforms, we communicate more intensively and more fully with each other. All this thanks to the new technologies.

At the start of the new season we would like to share with you some interesting trends that are emerging at the moment:

🔵 We are witnessing an increase of foreign demand. Our foreign buyers are waiting for the constraints to be over to come over to choose their overseas home in Bulgaria. Some of them are even paying deposits online and we have some flexible options for them.

🔵 Rural houses are a hit on the market both for local and foreign buyers. This is real news, because there has been no such demand since 2007. There is interest in all areas around the big cities in the country, as well as around the sea and mountain resorts. The Bulgarian village has a chance to be revived and we are sincerely pleased with this and are doing our best to offer you a great choice of attractive properties.

🔵 Holiday properties on the sea and in the mountain resorts also draw a lot a attention. They will give us the opportunity to relax in peace and on our own territory.

🔵 The interest in the big cities continues to be mainly in the new construction, which justified the trust and continued to develop during the state of emergency.

🔵 There is a growing interest in regulated plots for house construction, as people have realized that it is most comfortable when you have your own outdoor space.
