I cannot thank Bulgarianproperties.com, elhovo office for all the help and assistance they gave us. I bought a lovely old house in Ovchi Kladenets in may of 2005. We have just returned from bulgaria, after spending 2 weeks in the house. As others have said, the Bulgarian people are probably the nicest, kindest and most helpful & friendly people we have ever met. Like others, we too were greeted openly and with many smiles and gifts from, home grown produce to neighbors helping in the garden and taking away of the weeds etc, in a typical cart, this one being drawn by the 20 odd year old grandson of our neighbor dressed in a suit, this was done amongst much laughter and never ending gratitude on my part. I would love to hear from anyone in the Ovchi region (Elhovo being approx 35 miles away), to compare notes etc.,. At present the water is being piped into the house and a septic tank installed.....roll-on our next visit later this year.
