The village of Sinemorets lies on a peninsula, south of the mouth of the Veleka River. It is located in the very southeast of the country close to the border with Turkey, where the river Veleka flows into the sea. The village is a combination of clean beaches, old oak forests, and a river, rich in fish. The sand is coarse and aureate in color and the water is crystal clear. The most refined beach is called Butamyata.
Tourists attractions are excursions by boat along the Veleka River, sea and river fishing, photo safari, biking, tracking in Strandja Forest and mushroom and herbs picking. Special outings are organized for amateur orinthologists - an observation of forest and river birds.
