BULGARIAN PROPERTIES Take Part in BalPEx Press Conference

2008-09-01   |  BULGARIAN PROPERTIES Head Office

In anticipation of the 4th Balkan Real Estate Exhibition BalPEx, which is to be held from 10-12 October 2008 in Bulgaria’s capital Sofia, today Hilton Hotel Sofia hosted а press conference the participants of which were leading real estate companies. BULGARIAN PROPERTIES - which is also a silver sponsor of the exhibition - represented by its CEO Mihail Chobanov was also part of the event whose main topic was The 2008 Real Estate Market in Bulgaria – Great Demand, Great Supply, Great Misunderstanding.

On the question what direction the Bulgarian real estate market has taken in 2008 Mihail Chobanov commented that this year the market has calmed down and has divided into segments. Mr. Chobanov explained that there are already three separate segments: lower, middle, and luxury as it is in the luxury segment that we are witnessing a stable price increase.

The main topic discussed at the press conference was that now the buyers are not looking to buy just a property anymore, they are looking for the whole package: a property with an attractive and friendly environment and additional amenities to go with it.
