Bansko attracts tourists both in the winter and in the summer
The excellent, first class and well-managed complexes and hotels in Bansko resort operate year round. They enjoy a great interest by tourists not only at the height of the ski season, but also during the summer.
“There is a trend of transforming the ski resort of Bansko into a year-round recreation destination. Many Bulgarians prefer a holiday in this mountain resort during the summer as they seek a diverse way of recreation, entertainment and sport. Accordingly, many of the foreign property owners in Bansko intend to spend their holidays in Bansko not only during the winter months but also in the summer,” comments Polina Stoykova, Head of Operations at BULGARIAN PROPERTIES.
During this winter season, buyers of apartments in Bansko are mainly Russians. These are young families, keen skiers, groups of friends who buy property for their own shared usage. The popularity of the resort is growing in recent years and Russian buyers are seriously considering buying a ski property there.
