Rural houses more attractive for property buyers
The interest in rural properties returned as early as in 2010, sales increased and last year there was almost no change. This is what the data in the annual analysis of real estate agency BULGARIAN PROPERTIES shows. The experts add that the buyers’ interest is now focused on more expensive rural houses that are ready to live in.
This is why the company reports an increase in the average prices of concluded deals year-on-year in most regions and in the regions of Varna and Veliko Tarnovo in particular. Prices in the areas of Bourgas and Stara Zagora remained the same as in 2010 and in some areas like Plovdiv, Yambol, Kardzhali and Pleven there was a price drop. The interest in the villages in northwestern Bulgaria remains minimal.
The average price of concluded deals with rural properties in 2011 was 15,900 Euro, which is 37% more compared to 2010. At the same time the concluded deals were 8% less year-on-year.
