Ivaylovgrad is located in the southeastern region of Bulgaria and is part of Haskovo Municipality. It is placed near Arda River and is located at the far end of the Eastern Rhodopes. In the town of Ivaylovgrad there are a historical museum, an amateur theater group, a community center, a museum and children's center. There's also a theater. The traditiona fair of the town is celebrated on St. Trifon's Day on 14th of February, while on the first Saturday in June, there is a memorial servie for children killed during the Balkan wars.
