In the northern part of Bulgaria, the village of Gumoshnik is part of Troyan district, set in Lovech Municipality. The village is placed in Troyan Balkan range and is 15 km away from the town of Apriltsi and 20 km from the town of Troyan. It consists of six neighborhoods and according to the historical facts, the village exists here since 9th century. Among the places to be visited here are the church "St. Nicholas Letni", a religious school, a memorial for the local residents who died in the sinking of "Titanic" and others. The traditional holiday in Gumoshnik village is celebrated on 24th May each year, and on 9th May is celebrated the feast of the church.
