Golets Village is located in Northern Bulgaria and is part of Ugarchin region in Lovech municipality. It stretches along the both banks of Dripla River, separating two parallel slopes of the mountain. The village of Golec is located 25 km from the town of Lovech and 35 km from the town of Troyan. In the vicinity are set the large villagess of Micre and Ablanitsa. Approximately10 km away from the village runs the river Osam and here goes the railroad between the towns of Lovech and Troyan. Not far from the village of Golets passes the highway connecting the cities of Sofia and Varna. In the area of the village are to be found Zmeyka cave and Kavuka waterfall.
