Dobrodan village is situated in Northern Bulgaria and is part of Troyan district in Lovech Municipality. It is located at the foot of the Balkan Mountain range, beautifully nestled between two hills, while in its western part flows Osam River. Dobrodan is an old village which is placed in a junction of several roads from the Danube to the Aegean Sea. Nearby there was a Roman settlement and a Roman wall, the remains of which could be still seen today. The village has a large church and a square. Its annual fair is celebrated on St. Dimiar’s Day.
