"New Bistrilitsa House-1" is the second house of the complex and spreads over 180 sq.m divided among two floors. Downstairs, there is a fitted kitchen with cooking facilities and a dining-room, bathroom/wc and a cellar. Upstairs are the three bedrooms, lounge, covered terrace and winter garden. The house comes with local heating system on wood, which is also connected with the mechana. Bearing the name, "Saloon Old Bistrilitsa Barn" with 25 places, the mechana is well isolated and has music system. The property further offers Internet and digital television. The garden to the "New Bistrilitza House-1" is occupied by playgrounds for volleyball, badminton, football and basketball. The complex is situated in an ecologically clean zone in the skirts of Stara Planina and is working from the year 2000. Guaranteed by the mountain, rivers and micro-dams, it is an ideal place for recreation and sport, including riding of bikes, walking through eco-tracks, fishing and sightseeing. The ski fans will find good conditions for skiing at Kom Peak (30 km away), where the lift track is 1500 m long with capacity of 800 skiers per hour.
Sightseeing near Old Bistrilitza Complex includes the Lopusha Monatsrey and the Klisura Monastery. Worth visiting are also the town of Chiprovtsi well known for the home-woven carpets in traditional style. The small spa resort of Varshets is at 15 km away from the town of Berkovitza. Its mineral water is warm and clean, effective for diseases of the nervous system and cardiovascular systemas well as skin and eye diseases.
The springs of Ogosta river are at 25 km from the village of Bistrilitsa, surrounded by virgin woods. Nearer (3.5 km from the village) you will find one of the largest dams in Bulgaria, Ogosta dam, which has a a swimming pool and an entertainment complex with a discotheque.
