Banevo is a district of Bourgas, which is located 1.5 km away from the Bourgas Mineral Baths, 3 km from the town of Vetren and 17 km from the city of Bourgas. Until recently it was a village and in the past here was placed a Turkish estate.
In Banevo are to be found a church, primary school, community center and a large kindergarten. The infrastructure of the region is good, as there are regular bus lines to the downtown area and other neighborhoods. In the region live many foreigners. Since year 2008 onwards in Banevo works in one of the most modern and large private hospitals in the area.
Close to Banevo there is a chapel, where is organized an annual fair. Nearby are the Bourgas Mineral Baths, which have healing hot water. The district is located at the foot of three beautiful and almost identical hills.
