Starting July 1st 2011 every property deal over 10,000 BGN will be paid via bank transfer. The Bulgarian parliament voted on this change to the Notaries and Notary Activities Act yesterday. The ban on cash payments will also be valid for the cases of established real rights and servitudes as long as their price exceeds the stated threshold. Ski Resort of Pamporovo Reports 20% More Tourists

There is a 15-20% increase of tourists coming to the ski resort of Pamporovo compared to winter 2010, said Marian Belyakov, Executive Director of Pamporovo AD. There is an increase in the number of tourists in the ski schools, the hotels and on the lifts.

The winter season in Pamporovo is expected to be extended until April if the good skiing conditions continue.
