07.02.2011 Area of Uzana to develop as a wellness resort

The Uzana ski centre (central Bulgaria) will work on developing wellness tourism in the region. The area is famous for being the geographic centre of Bulgaria. There are several small ski slopes for beginners, as well as a 1 km long ski slope for intermediate skiers, all serviced by drag lifts.
The area of Uzana is also famous for its beautiful virgin nature attracting numerous mountain lovers all year round. Development of eco tourism and wellness are the main priorities of the regional administration.
