Rousse Airport To Attract Low-Cost Airlines
2010-10-29 | VisitBulgaria.NET
The airport in the Danube town of Rousse is planning to specialize in servicing low-cost air companies, as the Bucharest airport is with too heavy traffic, announced the Regional Governor Plamen Stoilov.
The airport in the town of Rousse has not been operating since 1996. Currently concession procedures are underway for the airport and the opportunities for public-private cooperation have been presented to several air companies. A great advantage of the airport is the possibility to combine river, railway and road transport.
