04.01.2011 Town of Plovdiv Presented in a Series of Films on Euronews

The series of films present the cultural-historical monuments in Plovdiv. The aim is to popularize and strengthen Bulgaria’s position as an attractive tourist destination with unique cultural and historical heritage.
The films show the antique Plovdiv existing in modern times. What are shown in the film are the Regional Archeological Museum, the Regional Ethnographic Museum, the Antique Theater, the Roman Stadium and the Ancient Forum – the Odeon.

The Bulgarian government has decided to give the airport in Balchik to the Ministry of Transport, Information Technologies and Communications. The government intends to turn it into a civil airport.
