BULGARIA`S COASTAL RESORT ALBENA INTRODUCES CAR FEES
Guests to Bulgaria's northern seaside resort of Albena are already paying fees for their cars if they spend more than half an hour on its territory.
The daily fee - worth BGN 2 by the end of April, BGN 3 by the end of May and BGN 4 in the period from June to September - is paid at the main checkpoint of the resort upon departure. The price for commercial vehicles - busses and trucks - is set at BGN 10.
Those who will have the pleasure to spend about a month in the resort will find the season tickets offered much more suitable and cheap to use. Prices range from BGN 20 per month in April to BGN 50 per month from June to September. The fees for bus and truck drivers will increase from BGN 30 per month in April to BGN 70 for the period from June to September.
The fees collection system will remain in force until the end of the summer season.
