National eco initiative “Velo Rally Uzana 2009”
“Velo Rally Uzana 2009” will take place during the holiday 19 – 22 September, in Uzana site nearby Gabrovo. The event is organized by Gabrovo municipality in cooperation with Ispolin cycling club, Eco Society Foundation and the Alliance for Sustainable Tourism in Uzana. The organizers plan it to become an annual event, allowing the main accents of the program to be changed, including different eco and tourism initiatives, competitions and entertainment activities.
This year the eco initiative will include a cycling - rally “Uzana 2009”. 2 terrains 55 km and 65 km long will service the event.
During the days of the national eco initiative several competitions will take place, such as “We and the changes in the nature” and photo competition “VeloHeartUzana 2009”, for the most interesting photo picture taken during the event. Organizes will also offer walking trails along eco trail “Uzana”, climbing “Ispolin” peak and many more surprises.
The national eco initiative is also part of the European mobile week.
