Bourgas Opens the Summer Season on June 12th
The North Beach of the Bulgarian Black Sea city of Bourgas opens the summer season on June 12th. The necessary safety precautions for the tourists have been taken there being 10 lifeguard towers and 35 lifeguards.
There are doctors and nurses on the site, the central medical center being set in the area next to the Bunker on the North Beach. The central lifeguard office is also to be found there.
The beach will be guarded between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. Disabled people will also have easy access to the beach via two platforms.
For those who are fans of beach sports there are four volleyball fields. Half of the beach strip can be used for free, while on the other half there are parasols and deckchairs which can be used against a fee of 3 leva.
