visitbulgaria.net

Bulgaria's Black Sea city of Bourgas has launched a new interactive tourist guide, which is the first of its type in Bulgaria.

The guide is a project of the Tourism Department of the Bourgas Municipality, the regional history museum and the local tourism college.

It is available on the website of the Bourgas Tourist Information Center in Bulgarian and English; by the end of October it is also going to have versions in German and Russian. The guide will also be distributed in print at the Bourgas Airport and the tourist center.

It features interactive maps, pictures and information about every single cultural, natural, or historical site in the city. It also presents five tourist routes including one for children.

The interactive guide will be updated regularly; it is soon going to include information about the Poda Protected Area and the Strandzha Mountain National Park.

The map can be found on the site of the Tourist Information Center www.tic.burgas.bg.
