Bansko Jazz Fest 2010
The thirteenth edition of the International Jazz Festival in Bansko will take place from 8th to 13th August 2010 in Bulgaria’s top resort. During the festival jazz lovers will have the opportunity to meet with renowned jazz artists from four continents.
Residents and guests of the town will relive the magic of the music at the open scene at Nikola Vaptsarov square and at the small open-air stage at the Royal Towers Hotel.
This year’s program of the Bansko Jazz Fest features a great program of performers from around Europe and the USA. Since the first edition of International Jazz Festival Bansko in 1997, the number of participants and the variety of the performances have been steadily increasing.
The International Jazz Festival in Bansko is the biggest summer musical event in Bansko. The festival is popular worldwide and has turned into one of the foremost international cultural and music events on the Balkan Peninsula. The concerts are free for the public and the festival is organized with the aid of sponsors.
