10th International Jazz Fest Started in Bansko
Late last night the 10th Jubilee edition of the International Jazz Festival was opened, announced BNT.
Six days thousands of jazz admirers will enjoy the music of some of the best musicians in the world.
The festival was opened in the Bulgarian mountain town of Bansko by the Big Band of the Bulgarian national radio. Denis Djana – the biggest star of the Dutch jazz – performed in the first night of the festival.
Along with the jazz event, a Week of Arts will take place in Bansko and will continue till 13 August. Contemporary art exhibition is included in the program. The collection is selected and presented by the Sofia gallery “Astri”. Canvases of Bulgarian, Greek and Serbian artists will be presented in the exhibition.
