14.12.2005 Vidin turns into a University centre

The International Euro-Swiss University is about to open in Vidin by the beginning of 2006. This is a unique project that gives great opportunities to both international and Bulgarian students.
The big choice of majors and the special credit system that will be used in the university is a step forward in the Bulgarian educational system.

The headquarters of the University will be in Vidin, and there are branches in Switzerland and Germany. It will offer full-time, part-time and distance training. It will begin operating by the second half of January 2006.
The university offers two departments in the faculty for bachelor degree- engineering and management majors. Students who wish to continue their education and get a master degree can choose between Public administration, Business administration, Rural and Green tourismm Mechanical engineering, heating/ventilation, air conditioning technology, Energy saving devices, vacuum technologies. The faculty of master degree will also offer Aviation Department.

China Invests in Agricultural Land in Bulgaria

More interest in agricultural land in Vidin region

The deals with properties in Vidin (Northwestern Bulgaria) are increasing, as for some of the quarters this year the increase is up to 80%. This is what Polina Stoykova – operations manager in a real estate agency – told Radio Focus -Vidin.
